Parts of Speech Sort BIG BOARD

Parts of speech sort board, cards and recording sheet. This BIG BOARD sorting activity is intended for use at a literacy center. This sort contains 3 sets of cards so that students can practice with it multiple times.

How does this work?

Students place the six category cards on the marked spots. Next, they place the appropriate definition cards under the category cards. Then, they sort the 18 numbered cards placing them under the appropriate category. Lastly, students complete a recording sheet indicating the parts of speech identified at each number.

The parts of speech included:

✔ Noun (All 3 sets)
✔ Verb (All 3 sets)
✔ Pronoun (All 3 sets)
✔ Adjective (All 3 sets)
✔ Preposition (All 3 sets)
✔ Conjunction (Set A)
✔ Article (Set B)
✔ Adverb (Set C)
