Patriot or Loyalist? American Revolution Perspectives

This American Revolutionary War resource will help bring social studies to life for your learners. In a Google Slides presentation, nine colonist descriptions are presented. An answer slide follows each description page explaining the reasons why each colonist is either a Loyalist, neutral or a Patriot.

The first worksheet is designed for going through the slides at a faster pace. Before the teacher reveals the answer for each colonist, they pause a moment and allow students to circle their own choice.

The second worksheet is more detailed asking students to elaborate on the reasons for their choice for a colonist.

The third worksheet is a short writing assignment. Students will create their own colonist description.
